Spandex Yarn (Lycra)

Spandex or elastane is a synthetic fiber known for its exceptional elasticity. It is stronger and more durable than natural rubber. Because of its elasticity and strength (stretching up to five times its length), spandex has been incorporated into a wide range of applications.

Another name for Spandex yarn is Lycra or Elastane which Lycra is more common in Iran rather than Spandex.

We provide a wide range of Lycra yarns the most common grades 20, 30, 40, and 70.

Polyester Spandex Yarn

Spandex Covered yarn is divided into CCovered Yarn (CCY) and Air Covered Yarn (ACY).

CCovered yarn (CCY) is made of spandex yarn, covered with other yarns such as polyester, nylon, rayon, and cotton.

Air Covered Yarn (ACY) is produced as a result of combining multiple yarns through compressed air. It mainly consists of two types of yarn, one is outer yarn, polyester, or nylon and another is core yarn, spandex yarn/ lycra/elastane. like polyester (POY, FDY, DTY) with spandex (elastane, lycra).
